Dr Kamal pursued a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. His interest lies in complex coronary interventions, rescue PCI and primary PCI. He was formerly the head of the Cardiology Department in UiTM and is currently a Consultant Cardiologist with Sunway Medical Centre.

Professor Dato Khalid Yusoff is the national eminent leader in cardiology and research. Since leaving UiTM, he is now the Vice Chancellor of UCSI. He currently supports training of UiTM cardiologist through teaching rounds, cardiology clinics and research, in Hospital Selayang.
